Driving Highlights:

2005: Jon ran five events last season, showed steady improvement through the year, and finished with a top-10 finish (eighth) at Laguna Seca to close the season.

Previously: Attended the Skip Barber Driving School in 1997 and set the fastest autocross lap. In 1999, participated in the Skip Barber School and set the fastest lap time at Mazda Raceway Laguan Seca. Drove a 1984 Nissan 300ZX to a second place finish in his first race which was a three-hour enduro race at Buttonwillow in 2000. Competed in several open track/HPDE events in 2000. SCCA San Francisco Region class champion with 11 straight wins. Set lap and qualifying records at Infineon Raceway, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and Thunderhill. In 2002, drove BMW 328i in nine SPEED Touring Car races, with a season-best seventh place finish at Road America and Washington D.C. Competed in nine SPEED Touring Car races in an Audi A4 in 2003. Scored one podium, two top-fives and three top-10 finishes. Best finish was third at Lime Rock. In 2004, competed in six World Challenge Touring events after switching back to a BMW 325i and BMW 325is from the Audi A4 he drove in 2003. Best finish (13th) came at Infineon, which he did twice during the double-race weekend.

Personal Information:

Jon Prall is currently Vice President of World Wide Operations at Macrovision (MVSN) and is one of the core executives driving the vision and implementation of a consumer friendly digital ecosystem for distributing digital content. Jon's favorite food is fresh King Crab and he enjoys many types of music but particularly likes trance/techno. Jon's daily driver is a BMW 540i 6 Speed and his favorite movie is The Matrix. Jon's racing heroes include Dale Earnhardt, Michael Schumacher, and Mario Andretti and his favorite track is Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Jon is married to his wife Aimee and has two daughters named Lauren (5 yrs), and Jennifer (2 yrs).
